    LINDA GOODMAN

Gongs have been tools for healing, relaxation, and connecting with Spirit for thousands of years. There is evidence that places the use of the gong as far back as 16,000 B.C.

In a gong bath, you simply lie back and let the deep, penetrating sounds of the gong wash over you (hence the term "bath"). The frequencies of the gong will quickly transport you into the theta and delta brain waves of deepest meditation where guidance may be received, buried emotional trauma may be released, and healing may occur at the innermost vibrational level.

We welcome you into this altered state.

Dates are coordinated with the moon cycles. The dates are within the window of the new moons of each month.

Beginning March 4, 2024 we will be reading:

Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why by Bart D. Ehrman

For almost 1500 years, the New Testament manuscripts were copied by hand - and mistakes and intentional changes abound in the competing manuscript versions.  Religious and biblical scholar Bart Ehrman makes the provocative case that many of our widely held beliefs concerning the divinity of Jesus, the Trinity, and the divine origins of the Bible itself are the results of these alterations.

Yoga Nidra: The Essence of You

    PEGGY PETAHTEGOOSE, E-RYT 200

Yoga Nidra is at its simplest explanation a guided meditation. The depth of peace, tranquility and rejuvenation that you will experience cannot be captured in this definition. This ancient practice's goal is to bring you back into alignment with your Wisdom Soul. The birthright you were born with. As I guide you through the koshas/sheaths of your humanity, one at a time, you will begin to acknowledge your inner witness. The one who is always with you but not remembered, the Bliss body, Atman, your Divinity.

There is no wrong way to practice Yoga Nidra. You are only required to Be Still and Listen. Generally this is done in a shavasana pose, but can be done while sitting down. The goal is absolute physical comfort, No Movement. To accomplish this you are requested to wear loose comfortable clothing and to bring: a light sheet or blanket, an eye pillow or scarf, a yoga mat or two to lay on, and a small flat, yes flat pillow for your head.

For processing after the practice please bring a notebook or drawing paper, pen, pencil or coloring pencils.

    I
have been offering Yoga Nidra since 2012 throughout the state of New Hampshire. It is without question one of my most passionate offerings. Each class is unique, as I am guided by Spirit to offer you the most organic energetic healing.

Program Objectives and Outcomes: Complete and total restoration of the emotional, mental, physical, energetic and spiritual being.

Prerequisites/ Suggestions: No experience necessary. Quiet space, no distractions, blanket, eye pillow, small FLAT pillow for head, something for under the knees.
Who will this program benefit?: All suffering from anxiety, sleep deprivation, stress, needing to rekindle their spirit.
    Start/End Date: April 2/June 18; no class April 30 or May 28.
    Day/Time: Tuesdays 10-11 am ET

    A Course in Miracles
    CORRINE NIKOLENKO

A Course in Miracles (ACIM) discussion group for anyone interested in learning about the Course for the first time, or for those with experience interested in sharing their interpretations of the material. ACIM is a form of "spiritual psychology", where you can learn to see the peace instead of the chaos of life. The course uses Christian terms in the material, but any terms can be substituted for those used in this self-taught course. The course aims at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence. "This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way: Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God." Introduction, ACIM.

Program Objectives and Outcomes: To give participants possibly another path to inner peace to practice.

Required / Suggested Reading: A Course in Miracles (Combined book) with the Text, Workbook for Students, and Manual for Teachers in one book. (Most editions being sold now are the combined this way.) It is published by the Foundation for Inner Peace. About Corrine: I am a 25-year spiritual seeker. Interested in learning about and discussing all types of spirituality in my spare time. I have spent 25 years on and off studying A Course in Miracles. I facilitated an ACIM discussion group in my United Methodist church in Sacramento, CA in 2004. The group continued on their own for 5 years after I moved to NH, so I guess they liked it.

    The Spiritual Practice of Aging.

"Ancient is the one in me,                                                                             That the spirit of this season,                                                                     With its quiet murmur,                                                                               Calls.                                                                                                               Beyond, beneath the outer me,                                                                 My wise old seer                                                                                           Looks out upon the dance with compassion,                                         With a smile,                                                                                                 And the ancient one waits                                                                         for the young one to knock upon the door.                                             And both of them                                                                                         Are me."

    Intro to Ballroom Dancing

Looking for a good date-night activity?  Have you ever admired watching those twirling couples on the dance floor?  Now's your chance to join them!

Ballroom dance is a fun and healthy activity that you can enjoy with your partner.  It's a great social experience that builds friends, teaches coordination and timing and helps build healthy endurance.  And yes, you CAN do it!  It's not about where to put your feet; it's about your willingness to try.  Our class is for those who have never danced before and are looking to learn just the initial steps of some dances to see what Ballroom is like.  Or maybe you do know a bit and just want a refresher!

We'll cover three or four of the most popular dance styles (Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba and maybe a fourth).  The focus will be on dancing in a social setting and not the formal strictness of competition dancing.  Poise, steps, and timing to the music will all be covered so you can be comfortable out on a dance floor.  By the time the course is over, participants will know enough to get out on the dance floor and comfortably dance some easy steps with their partner.

The point is to have fun, get a little exercise and enjoy the session.  So come join us and learn a little dancing!

Who will this program benefit? Anyone who is interested in learning how to ballroom dance, but isn't interested in taking it to a competition level. Ballroom dance has also been shown to be excellent, low-impact exercise. And... it makes a great date night!

PrerequisitesParticipants should be healthy enough to be able to move around at a walking pace  and have a good sense of humor about themselves and their partner. When coming to class, please bring clean comfortable shoes to change into. We'd like to keep "outside shoes" off of the dance floor.

    Required / Suggested Reading: None

    Number of Classes: 8

Number of Participants: minimum 3 couples, maximum 6 couples

About the presenters: Karen and Ian have been ballroom dancers for more than 20 years, learning from many teachers and styles along the way.  While they don't compete, they truly enjoy the sport and have worked to reach some of the highest levels of social dancing.
They now would like to share with others the fun and excitement they have found in dancing. Here is one example of their dancing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66gYZ6KgwG4

Honoring Our Birthright: Women's Healing Circle

    PEGGY PETAHTEGOOSE

This new and necessary program is designed to offer you a safe space. A place to learn what it actually feels like to be safe, supported, heard and held in compassion. With teachings to help you understand what a sacred circle means and offers. Each meeting will include new methods to practice on your own to help you become a stronger woman. One step at a time. This is not a fast fix; this requires deep desire and commitment to find yourself, your true blissful self.
We will pray, chant, dance, meditate, write, journal, draw, move our bodies, find stillness. The possibilities are extensive, and all are attainable.
I invite you to join this new offering. It will continue to nurture you and hold you in faith and trust that: you are strong enough. All while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere for rest and healing intentions.

Who will this program benefit? Women who are in need of a space to be safe and discover a path to enrichment of their most sacred self.  That which may have been lost or damaged can find refuge and avenues to healing those wounds inflicted by outside forces, friends or foes.
