​Join in as we take an old and new look at Jesus’s parable of the prodigal son, a story which has resonance in both the Quran and recent cosmology. Like any great literary work, the parable speaks to people of every age. How did it challenge, comfort and surprise the people of 1st century Palestine? How might Spirit move through it and among us? About the presenter: Rev. Gail Barrows is Associate Minister of Tree of Life Interfaith Temple and a certified spiritual director. She earned her MDiv from Andover Newton Theological School in 2011 and was ordained an interfaith minister through the Tree of Life Seminary in 2021. She is a mother, grandmother, wife, and sister.
